The IMIA Web 2.0 social network

This site is an experiment in developing and using social network software, as part of the development of IMIA's Web 2.0 capacity. We are exploring what Web 2.0 (and beyond) has to offer, and how best various options can be used by IMIA (the International Medical Informatics Association).

This is contributing to the implementation of the IMIA Strategic Plan - the motto of this, courtesy of Nancy Lorenzi, is 'let a thousand flowers bloom' - hence, the current background graphic.

The IMIA Strategic Plan is on the IMIA website at >>>

This pilot is part of the work of the IMIA web 2.0 Exploratory Taskforce - see www.differance-engine.net/imia20

Caveat: This is an experimental and exploratory site. Information appearing on here, or views expressed on here, should not be taken to be official information about, or views of, IMIA. For current information about IMIA, see the website at www.imia.org
